What is Thai Massage?
Thai massage has been passed down for many generations. Many refer to it as “energy work with a physical application” and “lazy man’s yoga.” In a mini Thai massage clients can get a sample of what a full length traditional Thai massage would be like. Thai is performed on a Thai mat, similar to a futon, on the floor. The client is fully clothed with their shoes off. Many of the positions combine kneading, compressions called palm presses and rolling movements called forearm rolls. Passive stretching and breathing are integral parts of the service as well. If your business would like to offer Thai massage we will bring “thai fisherman” pants for convenience. These are “one sized” fits all moveable pants that allow them to receive this type of body work comfortably. Feelings one can expect after a Thai massage are: taller, lighter and often times it can be relaxing or energizing.
